Sustainable Material*
With ISCC certified materials deemed to be used in the product via ISCC PLUS mass-balance approach and accounting for a minimum of 47% of the weight of the product, and a combination of bio-based, renewable and recycled materials, all anticipated SKUs of this tire uses more than 70% sustainable materials by weight. Goodyear defines a sustainable material as bio-based; a renewable, or recycled material; or one produced using or contributing to other practices designed to promote resource conservation and/or emissions reductions, including ISCC PLUS mass-balance materials.
“ISCC PLUS mass balance” is defined as a certification verifying our capability to track the amount and sustainability characteristics of circular and/or bio-based material in the value chain and attribute it to this product based on verifiable records. The current certification is valid until June 23, 2025 (renewable upon application). More information at: www.iscc-system.org/certification.
